"It takes a village..."

After giving birth, you are faced with all kinds of challenges and chances are that you are overwhelmed and flooded with hormones. Just remember, you are not supposed to do this alone! It does take a village to raise a child and in other cultures, parents are pampered the first weeks to get used to this new reality.

In the Netherlands every mother gets 48 hours of maternity care, spread over 5 days funded by the state.

Rachel Meijler, a  maternity caregiver herself, originally from the Netherlands, decided that we need that here, in Israel as well.

"Here in Israel, it's often the families that come to help, which is great, but not enough. The maternity/paternity care we offer is not a replacement for the help the family can give, its an addition .

it’s the perfect way to start of, in a safe environment with a little help”.
